my hair is really frizzy, wavy, curly, and poofy!!! It is short so it makes my hair even more poofy! My hair is uncontrolable!!!! I wish it was straight! What should I do?!?!?!

1. Choose a shampoo or conditioner by looking for the words smoothing, moisturizing or hydrating on the front of the bottle (I use Pantene Pro-V for dry and damaged hair).

2. After washing, towel dry and apply a smoothing or frizz serum (I like John Frieda閳ユ獨 Frizz Ease閳ヮ泴ound at most drug stores).

3. Let hair hang dry until it is almost fully dry. When almost dry, finish drying with a blow dryer while using a round boar-bristle brush (work with small areas at a time 閳?do not let your hair blow all over the place, otherwise it will just become more unruly).

4. Make sure your hair is completely dry. If there is anymore moisture left it will become frizzy.

5. By using a 1-1/2 inch (or larger) curling iron or a flat iron, you can smooth out any left over frizz.

6. You can also apply a hair wax (like Bumble and Bumble Styling Wax) or pomade (like Got2B Defiant Define Plus Shine Pomade) now.

7. Finish off by using a flexible hair spray (like Finesse閳ユ獨 Touchable hair spray).

shower and condition as usual, get out of the shower, squirt 'frizz eez' sirum on ur hand, about 4 squirts, and put inur hair from root to tip, make sure ur hair is soaking wet when u put it in. do not towel dry!!

the best hair straitners i have came acrosse are 'morphy richards, i-create' they r fantastic, they take 2 mins to het up and reach 190 degrees C. u must dry ur hair 1st though.

I have the eact same problem as yours. My hair is like that!! What i do is braid my hair whne its damp and put a little bit of gel...this avoids poofyiness. As for the straight hair, straighting iron doesn't help for me!! I have to get mine done from a professional, and it's so expensive.....wish i knew the answer for that.....lemme know if ya do....

As a rule of thumb;

For curls, never use a blow dryer unless there is a diffuser on it. To help control curls (frizz/poof) there are a lot of products out there that can help. Pantene ProV has a line for curly hair, and I find that the styling creme, and frizz control treatment spray work well.

For straight hair, find a good (yes, they are expensive - but worth it!) flat iron. For straightening, experiement with products that will lock in moisture. Blended Beauty has some excellent product, as well as tips. ( http://www.blended-beauty.com/ )

My hair is pretty much like yours so heres what I do.

1. Wash your hair with Sunsilk Straighten Up shampoo and conditioner.

2. Towel dry hair. Use a comb not a brush or pick but a comb and comb your hair out till theres pretty much no knots or anything left.

3. From your roots till the ends of your hair rub in Pantene Pro-V smooth and shine Anti-frizz serum.

4. Then use your comb to comb your hair while blow drying it. But when you blow dry it hold it above your head and keep combing it until its dry.

5. After all the just use your flat iron!!
