Any way to style really curly hair so that it's wavy???? not permanently either?

i have really curly hair and i really want it to be wavy sometimes but i would never get a perm because i love it curly sometimes. but is there any way to style it so that its not smooth and straight but kind of textured and wavy without just looking like i didnt finish straightening it? cause i think wavy ponytails are sooo pretty and i can't ever have them =/ can anybody give me some tips? thanks in advance.

I do the same thing. I bought a set of large size hot rollers. First, I brush through my hair and put in some mousse, hairspray, whatever you like for some texture. Then I put all my hair in the rollers for about 30 min. Take them out, brush your fingers through to break up waves, and viola...beautiful waves.
