I use the Curl Conscious products by Bumble and bumble. But I really recommend their Curl Creme. I have fine naturally curly hair but I have A LOT of hair so that if I don't use any product it just pouffes out. Curl Creme works great for curly hair it gives you ringlets and really keeps the frizz under control. I also keep a small bottle of leave-in conditioner in my purse on those more difficult days when my ends start to frizz.

My friend has the same problem. I told her to go to a salon and they gave her some excellent tips on how to keep her hair curly.

Avoid relaxers. Sounds like you have hair that's not course. your best bet it to keep it moisturized. Use a good conditioner, like cream of nature. Sounds gross, but mayonnaise is good for the hair.

go to your local bookstore if there is a major one around. you can pick up "the curly girl book" by lorraine massey. the book should be around 10.00 there are recipes and an actually curly girl method. which entails the elimination of shampoos containing sulfates. (check product ingredient lists) and also encourage conditioner washing. shampooing with sulfates or at all for alot of curlies and even nappies dries the hair out so much it causes major tangles, split ends and frizz. the author also sells a line of products. devachen i think it is.

anyways if you are balling on a budget like myself. many thick conditioners found at your local drugstore or walmart will work just as good. at least i would try those first. suave humectant (knock off of nexxus humectress), dove's conditioner for dry hair, tresemme's conditoner with vitamin e and citrus contioners work for me as well. the citrus will remove any build up without causing you to use a shampoo.

many curlies or coilies follow up with a clear gel or pudding. such as curly pudding, fantasia IC gel with sparkelites, or curling custard.

the book also tells you how to get a cut that will not cause your hair to look frizzy and make it lay right. i have used the curly girl method and modified with other methods. the book is handy to have around if you are shooting for curly hair everyday.

Try Curls Ecstasy Asian Hair Tea by Curls. It is a great conditioner!!! at a great price; $18. Then use their Curl Souffle to define your curls. If you want to soften the curl a bit use the Milkshake. You will be looking' like Kelis in no time. :-)
