How to get naturally curly hair to be straight or relaxed???

I have long curly hair and I really wish I could have it straight or at least relax the curls. I have have it chemically straighted before but it is so damaging so I am worried about doing it, my hair is already dry and frizzy and it is. Also if anyone has tips for frizz, that would be good too. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have the same problem and I use John Frieda's products. I also use BedHead products to tame my naturally frizzy hair. I hope this works!

I'm in that boat, too. I use John Frieda Frizz Ease Curl Around shampoo %26amp; conditioner, followed by Frieda's Downplay serum. I then apply Umberto Beverly Hills Conditionioning Spray (leave in conditioner %26amp; heat protection). Then blowdry %26amp; and straightening iron for any remaining frizzies. Finally, I use JF spray on shine to give my hair a healthy gloss.

Yes, a plane trip w/carry on only is miserable - try getting all this stuff in itty bitty bottles %26amp; all in a quart size bag. Add a mascara %26amp; lip gloss %26amp; that's about all the bag can hold.

It is more in the drying then it is in the products used. I have curly hair as well, and it isn't the good kind lol more of the very tight curls that is always frizzy, the bad kind :) I have bought or tryed a ton of the styling products, chemical straighteners, curling irons flat irons, you name it I have done it ! the method I find that gives the best results is probably the easiest and least costly

The trick in getting the frizz out is the drying process, the best way to dry is stay away form the blow dryer as much as you can, you can use it to lightly finish your "do" but if you have the time to just air dry it turns out beautiful !! If you don't have the time to air dry, use your blow dryer a min amount of time and then let it finish drying on its own. Once dry you have two choices, go straight ...a little bit of mousse, hot iron spray and your iron...or to go curly...little bit of mousse maybe some spray gel if you need more control and style with your fingers. Try it without so much blow drying and you will see allot better results and you can go straight or curly depending on how you feel that day :)
