How can I enhance my NATURALLY CURLY hair???

I have natural curly/wavy hair. When ever I wake up in the morning, it's always a puffy out-of-control mess. I've tried to wash my hair in the morning, but my curls seem very dull and wild when it dries. Is there any product out there that can control my hair, but still enhance it too?

Thanx !!

I had the exact same problem lol. My hair is very wavy/curly naturally. People are always asking me if it's permed. Anyway, here's what I use and it works wonders.

Garnier Fructis "Curl 'N Shine" Shampoo %26amp; Conditioner, then I towel dry it and put in Garnier Fructis "Length %26amp; Strength Leave-In cream" it's a little rounded bottle with a pump on it...the BEST stuff I've ever used. After towel drying and putting that in, I put in some Garnier "XXL Volume-Thickening Mousse" the extreme one. It sounds scary, but leaves your hair still managable and frizz free all day.

I let it just air dry...hair dryers for hair like ours is a big no-no.

If it's an extra humid day and you need just a tiny bit more frizz control, get some Garnier "pure fix" gel..the strong one. It's great as well.

And I promise, after all of this stuff in your hair, it doesn't look or feel as if it has tons of junk in it. I know I sound like a Garnier commercial but it's a great product and inexpensive too!

So good luck, and have fun with it! People pay lots of bucks for hair like ours hehe.

buy products that are specifically for curly hair. or buy mousse and stuff to help keep them mosturized. my friend has long curl hair, after she washes it, it is a big fro, but when she uses a few products her hair lays down and has long flowing curls

Use the Be Curly line by Aveda!! It's AMAZING! They have a product (Be Curly Curl Enhancer) that will help your curls dry nicely if you wash it in the morning, and they also have a product (Be Curly Curl Control) to use when you wake up in the morning and need to tame it down and refresh it. You'll LOVE IT!

I've had the best luck with Physique products but they've either been discontinued or my local stores don't carry them anymore.

Since I've had to switch, I've found that Garnier Fructis has a good and reasonably priced line of products. Try their curl and shine shampoo and conditioner. For some body and control, I've used the mousse which is also pretty good.

I wash my hair in the morning and let it dry naturally. The blow dryer creates a mess! I make sure my hairdresser cuts layers into my hair which lets the curls fall more naturally.

Good luck!

try using a curl enhancing shampoo and conditioner like garnier curl and shine or suave healthy curls, then when you get out of the shower put frizz cream throughout the hair, then gel or mousse. good luck!

I used to have the same problem and I have the same hair type as you! If you haven't found something that works the way you want it to yet, try looking for Tresemme Restore Conditioning Leave-In Creme. From what I remember it's not expensive at all (I bought it a LONG time ago and I'm still using the same bottle!) and you don't need a lot, it's really light and creamy and works great to keep the wavy curls intact but not weigh them down or make them frizzy, either! Hope this helped, good luck! =)
