What is your favorite hair products for curly hair?

I have very curly, shoulder length hair. I can't find a product that will leave my curls soft and frizz free. I live in a high humidity area. Any suggestions?

I also have very curly hair, naturally. Because it's natural, different things work for me as opposed to those with perms. So, if you are naturally curly as well, I am partial to the Biolage line of Gelee. It's thicker than other gels I've tried, but doesn't leave my hair completely hard and crunchy! It can be costly, but you don't need much per day.

The best advice anyone ever gae me is stay away from mousse and hairspray as it damages curly hair and makes it more likely to frizz...which I can attest to!

I have hair just like yours- its curly, shoulder length and very prone to frizz. The BEST product I have found is Nioxin Silk Elixir leave in conditioner. It is light weight but lets my hair curl naturally without making it sticky or hard. I use it on my hair when its wet and let it air dry. Then I use a little bit of mouse (I like herbal essence mouse) just on the ends to add extra curl

You could also you a good curl cream or moisturizer that does not contain alcohol. Look for products with natural ingredients like jojoba, shea, coconut oil, and tea tree oil. There are also some styling gels that work, but make sure it says flake free and alcohol free. I have used La Bella Lot of Curls, which you can buy almost anywhere (grocery stores, drug stores).

NO! For me the only curly product on the shelf that works for me is PANTENE, HYDRATING CURLS. It realy helps define my curls and makes them have no frizz at all! I LOVE THESE PRODUCTS!!!!! It hydrates your hair, defines curls, and really tames frizz without weighing down your hair! What Could be better? !!

Here is a good routine for frizzy curly hair:

1. Wash Hair about every other day with Pantene Hydrating Curls Shampoo

2. Condition with Hydrating Curls Conditioner

3. Use Hydrating Curls Styling Milk and blowdry hair until about 75% dry

4. Then, use a small amount of Hydrating Curls- Curl Scrunching mousse and scrunch

5. Optional: Spray Hydrating Curls Hairspray
