Why don't SOME blacks deal with kinky/curly hair?

A lot of people tell me they can't deal with their hair. That's fine but rather than to relax it WHY NOT JUST GOOGLE YOUR HAIR TYPE AND FIND OUT WHAT'S BEST? I do it all the time. I had trouble dealing with my virgin extremely curly hair but after finding tips and products I could use, it's ok now. There are so many resources on curly, kinky, wavy and straight hair that that excuse doesn't work anymore.

girl i feel you! i rock my natural curly hair, and so many ignorant people ask the question "Why don't you use perms?" I laugh everytime I hear that because who said that straight hair was the way hair has to be?! I also hate when I go to the salon, and many beauticians say " oh...i don't do natural styles. i only work with permed hair". how sad of us, huh?

They're stuck in a time warp?

no matter what color you are , some ppl. don't want the polished look. I just grew out of that. Only 22 years. lol.....honest, but a year ago I discovered Sebastian hair products, all sold on the web, www.Sebastian.com, all and any of them do what they say they'll do. Every time, period. they are a little pricey, but last longer. I started washing my hair by using a half ounce of shampoo to 16 ounces to warm, mix well, wet the hair and pour over it, suds it up, leave on ten minutes, to float away the dirt and sweat, then rinse and rinse with cool water. Towel dry good, and apply the Potion 9, half a dimes worth, you leave that in. Next if you want extra shine or a certain look, apply the next product. You can't believe what a difference it makes.....good luck ....
