Question for people with naturally thick curly hair?

My curly hair is frizzy, it used to not be when I was little. I use mouse to try and tame but after a hour or 2 it frizzes if I keep it down. I'm starting to think it's the type of brush I use, I use a regular brush with metal spikes, when I was little I didn't, I used a fat comb type [I don't know if you know what I mean] and my curls were fine.

What do you think and what do you use to tame your curly hair?

Question for people with naturally thick curly hair?

First off, you should never brush curly hair. That's probobly what's making it so frizzy. You might want to try some new hair products to. I love herbal essencces totally twisted! But it helps if you use the whole line. I use everything but the gel.

Question for people with naturally thick curly hair?

My hair is the exact same way. Use a fat comb to brush it, and then try out different taming products to see which works best. I use Garnier Fructis Style; curl construct mousse, and curl shaping sray gel. It seems to work all right. I also use frizz control conditioner and shampoo. It's easy and quick which is good because I don't have a lot of time in the morning. If you have more time you can also try using a curling iron. I've never tried that before, but it seems to work for other people.

good luck.

Question for people with naturally thick curly hair?

ok,

go to your stylist (or a new one that is good not just a random one from some random hair salon) and ask them. it usually depends. you can try using a new conditioner or shampoo that could definatley help. or don't brush your hair too much i noticed that that makes your hair very frizzy. its not like u cant brush ur hair at all, just do it when its wet, or wet your hair and then comb it through. ALSOO one last thing, next time u wash ur hair, leave a LITTTTTLE bit of conditioner in it.

hope this helps but the best answer would to be ask a stylist at a hair salon or a store.

Question for people with naturally thick curly hair?

Try using a PHI Finishing iron. I got one that was infused with tourmaline so I guess it seals in the hairs natural moisture. I have never seen my hair so shiny and frizzz free! I found mine at http://www.phibeauty.com
